Nokia unveiled the new 6700 Classic mobile phone on Thursday. The Nokia 6700 Classic follow the foot steps of the 6300 classic. The Nokia classic comes with matte metallic, black metallic color and silver metallic color.

The Nokia 6700 comes with 5 megapixel camera with a LED flash, Assisted Global Positioning System navigation with Nokia Map Software and MicroSD memory card slot. The Nokia 6700 supports a multimedia player and a web browser.

The Nokia 6700 Classic is expected in the second quarter of 2009 to Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific.

The Nokia 5800 is available at Nokia stores in Heathrow’s Terminal 5 and Regent Street in London. The Phone will be available in Phones4U, Carphone Warehouse and network operators’ stores in the end January.

Fujitsu, a developer of biometric and other technologies, has released the world’s first waterproof mobile phone. It is called F-01A. This model is based on the Symbian operating system. It offers a combination of the” next generation ,complete entertainment”.

The general manager of the mobile phone group of Fujitsu, Katsumi Takada said,” Users of the new F-01A not only enjoy the peace of mind offered by its waterproof capability but also by the integrated fingerprint security which helps protect its stored files and personal information”.

F-01A will still work if dunked in 3 feet of water for up to 30 minutes. It features a 5.2 megapixel camera as well as 3.5 inch VGA touch-screen with built-GPS. It also work as fingerprints scanning device.
